Kayadu Lohar, who recently made waves with her role in Dragon alongside Pradeep Ranganathan, has landed a major Tamil project. She will star as the female lead in STR 49, Silambarasan TR’s upcoming film directed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan.
The film is set in a college backdrop, with Silambarasan reportedly playing a professor. Pre-production is in full swing, and filming is set to begin in April, aiming for completion by October.
Comedian Santhanam has joined the cast in a key role, while discussions are ongoing to bring composer Sai Abhyankar on board for the music.
With an engaging storyline, and a fresh pairing the makers plan to release the film in December and an official announcement with more details is expected soon.
