Kayadu Lohar, who rose to fame with her Tamil debut Dragon is now facing controversy. Reports say the Enforcement Directorate is investigating her as part of the Tasmac liquor scam, which involves large-scale corruption and money laundering.
During ED raids her name reportedly came up, and it is alleged that she was paid Rs. 35 lakh to attend night parties organized by those involved in the scam. So far, Kayadu or her team have not given any official response.
Originally from Tezpur, Assam, Kayadu began her career through beauty pageants before moving into films.
She made her acting debut with the Kannada movie Mugilpete in 2021 and has since appeared in Malayalam, Marathi and Telugu films.
In Dragon, she played Pallavi and impressed audiences with her performance. She is currently working on STR49 with Silambarasan TR. This controversy has now cast a shadow on her promising career.
