Kartik Aaryan & Karan Johar Finally Bury The Hatchet; Team Up For A Rom-Com

It looks like actor Kartik Aaryan and director-producer Karan Johar have decided to let bygones be bygones, as they are coming together for a romantic comedy. The movie is titled Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri.

As per multiple reports, Kartik and Karan had a fallout in 2021 that led to the actor’s exit from Dostana 2. However, after three years, the two have finally patched up and are coming together for a project that will be directed by Sameer Vidwans. Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri will be produced under Johar’s Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures and is scheduled for a 2026 release.

Kartik Aaryan Announces New Movie

Taking to social media, both Karan and Kartik shared a video on December 25, describing the film as the “best Christmas gift” for fans. Kartik Aaryan wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Mummy ki khaayi hui kasam, yeh Mumma’s boy poori karke he rehta hai! Tumhara Ray aa raha hai Rumi.” Check out his post.

For the unaware, Kartik has previously worked with Sameer Vidwans in Satyaprem Ki Katha. Meanwhile, the female lead for Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan is basking in the success of his recently released movie, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which is set to start streaming on Netflix from December 27. This year, Karan Johar produced Jigra, starring Alia Bhatt, and will be directing Naadaniyaan, which will release in 2025.
