Karthi’s Long Wait For Telugu Film Ends

Karthi, who has a strong fan base in Telugu has finally agreed to do a straight Telugu film after many years. The project was officially launched with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad.

It will be directed by Kalyan Shankar, known for MAD and MAD Square and produced by Naga Vamsi. Shooting is expected to begin soon.

Meenakshi Chaudhary has been chosen as the female lead in this untitled film. Karthi’s recent film Vaa Vaathiyaar did not perform well at the box office as everyone know.

He is currently busy with Sardar 2 and Marshal, which are in production. After completing them he will start this Telugu project.

He also has Kaithi 2 in discussions. Karthi is now looking for a solid hit as his recent films have not been successful.
