Karthi Sets The Stage For A Power-Packed Year

Karthi, known for his strong performances is currently one of the busiest stars in Tamil cinema with multiple projects lined up.

His recent film Meiyazhagan received great praise, followed by a cameo in Nani’s HIT 3. He also completed shooting for Sardar 2, directed by PS Mithran, with the climax filmed in Bangkok.

Karthi’s 29th film will be directed by Tamizh of Taanakkaran fame, who previously worked under Vetrimaaran. The film will feature actors like Nivin Pauly and Jayaram.

Although the shoot was planned for July a major change occurred when cinematographer S.R. Kathir exited the project. He has been replaced by Sathyan Sooryan who earlier worked with Karthi in Kaithi.

After this, Karthi will begin filming for Kaithi 2 with Lokesh Kanagaraj. He has also signed a Telugu film from the HIT franchise. With Vaa Vaathiyar ready for release, Karthi is set for a busy and exciting year ahead.
