Manchu Vishnu’s much-awaited devotional film Kannappa has begun its ticket sales in North America, while bookings in India will open tomorrow.
The film is all set for a massive global release, with over 5,400 screens secured worldwide. In India, it will be released in more than 4,300 theatres, including top premium formats like IMAX, ScreenX, and 4DX.
Overseas, the film will be screened in over 1,100 locations, including more than 200 premiere shows in the U.S., marking a record for Telugu devotional cinema on the international stage.
The makers are hopeful for a Rs. 100 crore worldwide opening. Vishnu stated, “Our aim is to take Bhakta Kannappa’s devotion into every home. If the audience embraces our work with the same love we’ve put into it, success will follow”.
Kannappa features a powerful cast including Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, Prabhas, Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, and Brahmanandam, and is set to release on June 27th.
