Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa released on June 27th with a massive budget of around Rs. 200 crore. The film opened to positive talk on its first day. Special cameos by Prabhas, Mohanlal, and Akshay Kumar created strong buzz, especially Prabhas appearance, which impressed audiences the most.
Kannappa recorded the biggest opening in Vishnu’s career. Though collections dipped slightly on the second and third days, the overall response remained decent. The film’s strong star presence and positive word-of-mouth helped it perform steadily at the box office during its first weekend.
