The next big release from Tollywood is Kannappa, a mythological drama with Manchu Vishnu in the lead role. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh the film is set to hit theatres on June 27, 2025.
The team has announced that the pre-release event will be held tomorrow in Hyderabad. Today, they confirmed the venue as JRC Convention and said the event will start after 6 PM.
While the chief guest has not been officially revealed, there is buzz that Mohanlal, Prabhas, and Akshay Kumar might attend.
The film also stars Mohan Babu, Kajal Aggarwal, Preity Mukhundhan, Sarathkumar and Madhubala in important roles. Kannappa is being made on a grand scale by 24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment.
The music is composed by Stephen Devassy. The event and film have created strong hype, especially due to its big cast and devotional theme.
