Kangana Ranaut is asked how she can make a significant statement when Javed Akhtar doesn’t think she is important, yet he chooses to ignore her.
The seasoned composer of music Javed Akhtar has been in the news because of his unrepentant remarks about the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai, in which he reminded Pakistanis that the attackers are still free to wander about in their nation. Following the worldwide success of his video from the Faiz festival, he received a lot of love and support for his words. Kangana Ranaut, another well-known celebrity on social media, praised his remarks. He recently responded to Kangana’s praise in a way that we know she won’t appreciate.
When discussing the terrorist events in Mumbai, Kangana praised Javed Akhtar’s remarks, calling them “Ghar mai ghuse ke maare.” The 78-year-old screenwriter, lyricist, and poet was recently asked for his thoughts on Kangana’s compliment. His response shocked everyone, and we’re sure Kangana wasn’t anticipating this.
The anchor asked Javed Akhtar about Kangana Ranaut’s praise to his widely shared comment during an interview with NDTV. Javed initially attempted to dismiss the query and responded, “What is the next question?”. The seasoned artist responded when the anchor rephrased her question, “I don’t consider Kangana important so how can she make an important remark. Forget about her. Chaliye aage.” Well! Well! That was a really unexpected response.
For those who are unaware, Javed Akhtar and Kangana Ranaut hold opposing political philosophies. Kangana typically supports the right, whilst Javed seems to have more of a liberal mindset. In actuality, the two had no warm equations to exchange. Javed complained in November 2020 about the Queen actress for reportedly making disparaging remarks about him in an interview. She has responded by filing a cross-complaint against him for violating her privacy and upsetting her modesty.
She recently praised him, but it appears that Javed Akhtar is not in the mood to thank her.
