Kabir Bedi in Gautamiputra Satakarni

B-Town veteran Kabir Bedi is set to delight T-town as he joins Balakrishna’s landmark historiacal drama Gauthamiputra Satakarni, a directorial of Krish.

While it is not yet clear as to what role the actor would be playing, it has been reliably learnt that he’d be shooting key scenes in Morocco from May 9th. As the first schedule begins, a huge cast and crew is being put together to make this epic film a reality, at a budget of nearly Rs 75 crores. Three major war sequences will be shot in the African nation.

Hema Malini will be playing Balayya’s mother in the film which is said to have the actor’s son Mokashagna as assistant director. Devi Sri Prasad scores the film’s tunes and a hunt is on for the female lead.
