Jr. NTR to play as Sr. NTR for Mahanati?

A biopic of the yesteryear legendary actress Savitri will not be complete without talking about her relation with Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, SV Ranga Rao and many other yesteryear legends we have grown to enjoy on screen. The great golden era of Telugu and Tamil Cinema is directly linked with Savitri’s life as she acted in most of those films. In fact in most of her 200 films, many will be with these legends and fans are hoping to see their favourite actors in the roles on these Demi-Gods.

Well, we can’t yet say about ANR and SVR, but we can definitely talk about the NTR role now. As per the reports, one of the producers of the movie, Mhanati, the biopic of Savitri have approached Jr. NTR to perform as his idol, Sr. NTR in the movie for a small portion. it will be an extended cameo and the producers feel only the actor can justify the character owing to his skill to reprise the famous mannerisms of the legendary actor.

Also his facial features match with the actor the most and Swapna Dutt, the producer from Vijayanthi Productions has personally approached NTR with the proposal. Still, NTR did nor give his consent for the role and he wants to think this out clearly before he can give an answer. Already, Nandamuri Balakrishna announced biopic on NTR’s life and this could be a great opportunity for Jr. NTR to show his uncle that he can handle the younger portions! We have to wait for few more days to know what Tarak is thinking!
