January 2022 is going to be huge for Tollywood, with three big films set to release within a very short span. First off, there’s Rajamouli’s highly anticipated RRR, which is releasing on January 7th, featuring NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, who will be seen playing Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitaramaraju respectively. The film has been one of the most highly anticipated films of India ever since it was announced.
Then there’s Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati’s Bheemla Nayak, which is releasing on January 12th, carrying huge expectations on it, with director Trivikram Srinivas writing the dialogues and screenplay of the film. The teasers, looks, songs and other promotional material from the film have already attracted audiences quite a lot. Then there’s Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam, which is releasing on January 14th and has also been one of the most highly anticipated films in India ever since its announcement.
With three massive films set to release within such a short span, producers and theatre owners are said to be worried if this would result in a revenue deficit, as the revenues would be shared. It is now to be seen what will happen.
