Janhvi Kapoor Opens Up About Digital Harassment
Janhvi Kapoor has addressed the AI-altered video featuring her from the song Chuttamalle in Devara: Part 1.
She called the misuse of technology “deeply violating” and said sharing such content without consent is close to sexual assault.
Janhvi said the incident highlights a larger issue of women being objectified and targeted through digitally manipulated content. She stressed that consent, choice and respect for a woman’s body should always be respected.
The controversy began after an AI-generated video featuring Janhvi and NTR was shared on social media. The footage was edited in a sexually explicit and degrading manner before being removed.
Janhvi said women’s boundaries must be respected regardless of their clothes or past choices. NTR, Chiranjeevi, Vijay Devarakonda and Khushbu Sundar condemned the incident. Janhvi thanked them for their support.
