Is Kajal Aggarwal part of Acharya?

When Megastar Chiranjeevi’s highly-anticipated social drama, Acharya kick-started two years back, the makers have roped in Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead in the movie. Even Kajal participated in the film shooting after her marriage to Gautam Kitchlu.

Kajal was also seen in the Laahe Laahe lyrical song that was unveiled a year back. But later due to reasons unknown, Kajal’s face is not seen in Acharya promotional posters and in the recently released theatrical trailer. Responding to the same, the film director Koratala Siva said that he has chopped off Kajal’s character completely as he felt her role has no proper justification in the proceedings.

Being bankrolled by Konidela Productions Company in association with Matinee Entertainments banner, Acharya also stars Ram Charan, Pooja Hegde, Sonu Sood in key roles. While Mani Sharma has composed soundtracks, the film is scheduled for April 29th release.
