Is Balayya playing an old farmer?

Nandamuri Balakrishna is taking one bold step after other. He is turning the heads of many in the Film Industry with the choices. First of all, many thought he would look to take a safe step by asking Boyapati, the only director who could present him in the way his fans desires on screen deliver blockbusters with him for his 100th. But he chose to go with a script by director like Krrish who has very least box office appeal but great success with awards.During the time he heard many scripts and even the script with Krishna Vamsi as director, Raithu came till official announcement as his 100th until the Gautamiputra Satakarni script came along with Krrish as director.

He immediately okayed and announced the film. Now, the most of the shooting has been finished and the makers are planning the release of the movie for Sankranthi on 14 Jan 2017, most probably. The clarity over the date will be achieved once the other films also confirm their dates and the makers are sure about the graphics output.The teaser trailer released for Dussehra was liked by Nandamuri fans but there were few comments as well over Balayya looking old and odd in few action sequences. His dialogue delivery was highly appreciated though. The final schedule of Gautamiputra Satakarni is planned for November and by December Balayya is said to be freed from the shooting of the big film.

Incidentally, as his next Balayya decided to go with Raithu and Krishna Vamsi as director. The movie is said to be highlighting the story of a farmer and through his eyes the change in the state of affairs for a farmer and how hard it has become over the years. In this film, Balayya is said to be donning the role of a 70 year old farmer and there could be him being a young person too. It looks when his contemporaries are trying to look as young as possible he is going the other way around. The team of Raithu is already in discussions with Amitabh Bacchan for an important role and already Balakrishna and Krishna Vamsi met the actor personally, during Sarkar 3 shooting schedule in the presence of Ram Gopal Verma.
