Interesting Updates on Jolly LLB 3; SRK Rejects Film!

Shah Rukh Khan declined the opportunity for Jolly LLB 3 for a reason, thus Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi are working together.

It was rumored a very long time ago that Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar from the first and second Jolly LLB films will square off in the third installment. And now it appears that everything is in place and the concept has been masterfully developed, as the actor recently confirmed the news of part 3 in an interview, stating that Jolly LLB 3 would soon go on the floor.

In the novel Jolly LLB, a struggling lawyer becomes famous after taking on a hit-and-run case involving a spoiled brat. The hit-and-run case involving actor Salman Khan was directly related to the film, which was favorably received. Then a sequel, Jolly LLB 2, was released, changing the name to Akshay Kumar in the sequel.

Arshad and Akshay have now decided to face off in Jolly LLB 3, the third installment of the franchise. The case’s remaining specifics are being kept a secret. However, Arshad Warsi acknowledged the series when promoting his upcoming online series Asur 2.

Warsi talked about many of his sequels and shared, “Munna Bhai 3 is not happening; Sanjay (Dutt) and I want it to happen, Raju (Hirani) wants to make it and Vidhu (Vinod Chopra) wants to produce it. But for now, it’s not happening. Jolly LLB 3 with Akshay is happening. The writer of Dhamaal called me and said that he is working on the next. About Golmaal 5, I believe one day, Rohit (Shetty) will just call us to shoot the film in Goa. He can actually do that.”

As of right now, Jolly LLB is the only sequel that has been officially announced and will debut in 2024. It’s interesting to note that Jolly Vs. Jolly was a project that director Subhash Kapoor toyed with for a while since he intended to pit Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi against one another. Strong rumors about Shah Rukh Khan entering the franchise as a new Jolly LLB persisted for a very brief period of time, but the actor declined the chance after his portrayal of a small-town youngster in Zero as Bauaa failed to appeal to the audience.

With Arshad Warsi portraying the original Jolly in Part 1 and Akshay Kumar in Part 2, the franchise is back. It will be fascinating to see how the fight develops and who ends up on the winning side!

Akshay Kumar is currently preoccupied with the film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Tiger Shroff. Additionally, he has the Dharma movie Capsule Gill, a biography of C Sankaran Nair starring Ananya Panday. He has finished filming the Soorarai Potturu adaptation, and he is getting ready to promote Oh My God 2.

Speaking of Arshad Warsi, he most recently appeared in the Akshay Kumar and Bachchan Pandey film. While he is now starring in Asur 2, he also received praise for a Modern Love: Mumbai episode.
