Insiders Call Anushka’s Ghaati A Powerful Action Drama

Anushka’s film Ghaati is finally releasing on September 5 after several delays. Directed by Krish under UV Creations the film also marks Vikram Prabhu’s debut in Telugu.

The teaser and trailer created good buzz, with many comparing its tone to Pushpa. For the first time, Krish has tried a full commercial film, while still keeping his touch of emotions.

Anushka stayed away from promotions, so director Krish and producer Rajeev Reddy took charge.

Actor Jagapathi Babu, who plays a key role, also joined the promotions after a long time drawing attention. Since this is Anushka’s comeback film after two years, expectations are high.

The story follows Sheelavathi (Anushka) and Desi Raju (Vikram Prabhu), who belong to the Ghaatis a group involved in ganja smuggling.

When they try to change, Kundul Naidu’s family insults them, leading to revenge. How they fight back is the heart of Ghaati.
