Music director Harris Jayaraj was recently honored by the Canadian government during his concert in the country.
He shared the happy news on social media posting a photo of the special memento given to him by a Member of Parliament in Canada. Harris also thanked the government for the recognition.
The note on the memento praised his contribution to Tamil music. It read, “Through your unforgettable melodies and creative music you have taken Tamil music to a global level and inspired many young artists”.
“Your presence in Toronto is not just a musical event but also a proud moment that brings people together. We truly appreciate the happiness, emotions, and cultural value you have shared through your music”.
This gesture made Harris Jayaraj’s international fans proud and showed how his music continues to cross boundaries and touch hearts.
