Hansika Motwani and her family are in the middle of a controversy after serious domestic violence allegations were made by her sister-in-law, Muskan Nancy James. Muskan, who is married to Hansika’s brother Prashant Motwani, has filed a complaint accusing Hansika, her mother Mona Motwani, and Prashant of harassment and cruelty.

Muskan filed the FIR at Mumbai’s Amboli Police Station. The charges include cruelty by husband or relatives, causing hurt, criminal intimidation, and more. Muskan claims that her in-laws demanded money and subjected her to emotional and physical abuse.

She also shared that the stress from her marriage led to her developing Bell’s Palsy, a condition that causes facial paralysis. Muskan and Prashant have been living separately from 3 years. She added that Hansika and Mona’s involvement in her marriage made things worse.

In response, Hansika posted a cryptic message on Instagram, which many saw as a comment on the situation. She said she was focusing on positivity and distancing herself from unnecessary drama.

Her post was “I’m getting a lil too old for the fallouts & being back cool things. I’m good, love”. She also used hashtags like #word! and “Just mute people,” with laughing emojis.

Muskan confirmed she has started legal proceedings but did not provide more details, saying she is now seeking legal help.
