GV Prakash Kumar To Compose Music For Pocket Novel

Ilaiyaraaja is reportedly no longer associated with director Thyagarajan Kumararaja’s upcoming film Pocket Novel, starring Vijay Sethupathi, Raj B Shetty and Malavika Mohanan.

Speculation about his exit began after the makers announced the completion of the shoot without mentioning his name in their post.

According to an industry source, GV Prakash Kumar has now taken over as the film’s music composer, while Ilaiyaraaja is no longer part of the project.

However, the reason behind this change remains unclear. Ilaiyaraaja had earlier worked with Kumararaja on the music for the OTT anthology Modern Love Chennai.

It is not known whether creative differences led to his reported exit from Pocket Novel.
