Guru is based on a real person : Venkatesh

Victory Venkatesh is coming with his latest movie, Saala Khadoos remake, Guru this Friday and the actor interacted with media. He looked completely relaxed and eager to know the reaction of public for the movie. He joked about his new announcements not coming through and wished Rana Daggubati even brighter future, after Bahubali.

When quizzed him about what led him to pick up such a character with deglamourized look, he shared that he read the script before it going to Madhavan but he could not allocate dates during the time. In the movie, he shared that he had a line, “Nee thandri vayasu vadine” and quipped that every actor should do one role where they don’t have to cheat themselves.

Going by his philosophical side, he made some interesting comments about trying to repair themselves before wishing for changes in system. He praised the audio composed by Santhosh Narayan and was surprised to hear about the success of his song, Gingidi Gingidi. He concluded by joking about the way he chose scripts and directors. The movie is directed by Sudha Kongara and starring Rithika Singh.
