Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has some evergreen films that are all-time favourites for general audiences and his fans, alike. While Khushi is at the very top in that list, it is closely followed by Tholiprema, Badri, Thammudu, and others. All of these films got famous because of their unique storyline, and Pawan’s swag and attitude in the films.
Thammudu is a special film for all audiences, as Pawan had tried something new in the film, by playing a kick-boxer. The film turned out to be a massive success and was remade into several languages as well. After Thammudu, several other films were made, in the same genre, and received varying amounts of success, but none equal to Pawan’s film.
Now, after a long time, this genre is being revived by Varun Tej, with his upcoming film Ghani, which is being directed by Kiran Korrapati. While Varun will not be seen as a kick-boxer, he will be seen as a boxer in the film, and Hollywood action choreographers Larnell Stoval and Vlad Rimburg have been roped in to design the action sequences of the film, which are said to be the major highlights of the film. With Varun bringing back the boxing genre, he is reminding viewers of Pawan’s Thammudu. On the other hand, Saiee Manjrekar is the leading lady of the film, while Siddhu Mudda is producing the film.
