Genre locked for Vijay’s next

Tamil star Vijay is currently working on a family drama under the direction of Tollywood director Vamshi Paidipally. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 66, the film is being made as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. While Dil Raju is producing, Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead in the movie. Thaman is the music composer.

Later, for his 67th film, Vijay will be collaborating with young filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj is well-established news. Now, the latest news is that the film is going to be a gangster drama with some intense action sequences.

It is widely known that Thalapathy 67 marks the second time collaboration of star actor-director duo Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj after the 2021 film, Master. More details regarding the project are expected to be out soon.
