“Geethanjali Malli Vachindi” Finalizes its OTT Platform Release

Anjali-starrer Telugu horror comedy Geethanjali Malli Vachindi is gearing up for its OTT premiere. Aha has secured the digital rights for the film, which is set to start streaming from May 8, 2024.

Directed by Shiva Thurlapati, the movie features Anjali alongside Shakalaka Shankar, Satyam Rajesh, and Srinivasa Reddy in significant roles, marking a milestone as Anjali’s 50th film.

The plot revolves around Sreenu, Athreya, and Arudra, who undertake a film project with Sreenu as the director and Satya as the lead actor.

They choose to shoot at Sangeeth Mahal, a haunted bungalow provided by Vishnu. Mistaking real ghosts for method actors, chaos ensues during filming.

As the ghosts disrupt production, the team confronts Vishnu, uncovering his hidden motives. The film’s core storyline unfolds from these confrontations.

Despite its lackluster reception in theaters, the film promises to be an engaging watch on Aha. The original Geethanjali film released in 2014 was a blockbuster, but the sequel faced criticism for its blandness and failed to succeed at the box office.

Nevertheless, its digital release on Aha is expected to bring a new audience and renewed interest, offering entertainment from May 8, 2024.
