Funky 3-Day Box Office Collections

Funky stars Vishwak Sen and Kayadu Lohar, directed by Anudeep KV. The film is produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments and released on February 13th. The teaser and trailer created good buzz, leading to decent pre-release business.

Annapurna Studios released it in the Telugu states, while overseas distribution was handled by the producer’s friends. Though the film received negative talk on day one for its weak story, it managed to earn decent collections over the first weekend.

Funky did Rs. 11.5 crore theatrical business and needs Rs. 12 crore share to break even. After the first weekend, it collected Rs. 3.82 crore share (Rs. 7.47 crore gross) and still requires Rs. 8.18 crore share to reach break-even.
