In the film industry, it’s common for actors to pass scripts to others if they feel someone else suits the role better. Many successful films have found their perfect star only after changing hands.
Siddu Jonnalagadda’s latest release, Telusu Kada, a bold love story directed by Neeraja Kona, hit theaters last Friday and is enjoying a steady run at the box office. To celebrate, the team held a success meet with the cast and crew.
At the event, Siddu thanked Neeraja Kona for the unique story and for giving him freedom to shape his character. He also shared that Nithiin personally suggested the script to him believing it was a perfect fit.
Initially Neeraja had approached Nithiin for the lead but he felt it didn’t suit his image and recommended Siddu instead.
Siddu’s performance as Varun is being praised everywhere. Fans jokingly noted Nithiin’s missed opportunities as he recently passed on several projects.
