Fresh Twist In Gautami’s Property Fraud Allegations

A property fraud case involving actress Gautami has once again come into the spotlight after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out searches in Chennai and Madurai.

The case is linked to allegations of illegal transactions involving properties worth nearly Rs. 25 crore. According to Gautami’s complaint, she had appointed film producer Alagappan as her power of attorney several years ago to manage her properties during a period of health issues.

However, she later alleged that he misused the authority and illegally transferred some of her properties.

The investigation includes the alleged sale of valuable land in Sriperumbudur and Ramanathapuram district. Cases have been registered against Alagappan, some of his family members, and others.

The ED is now examining property records, financial documents, and transactions to trace the money trail and investigate the allegations.
