First ‘Mahanati’ then Honeymoon..!

Samantha Akkineni is happy about the positive feedback that Raju Gari Gadhi-2 is receiving. The collections have been steady and the talk is good for the movie. This is her second film with Nagarjuna, after Manam. She shared a lot of things about the movie and life in general. She shared that she is happy to be recognised as the wife of Naga Chaitanya and feels a lot of responsibility for being Akkineni family member.

She said, “It is Naga Chaitanya you planned everything and he did not like to have a huge function. From childhood, I dreamt of a private ceremony with all my close friends and family members at the marriage and I am glad, I got that wish to reality. I feel blessed to have Naga Chaitanya in my life and we literally forced him to watch the movie. He was scared out of his wits for few scenes and needed time to calm down after the screening is over.”

On working with Nagarjuna, “I was thrilled to work with him again. As we developed a good friendship after Manam, being his daughter-in-law, I needed to absolutely be on toes during the shoot. I really enjoyed working with him again but his ability to know whether you’re saying the truth or lying is at times scary!” About starting to work and reception, “We haven’t planned even our Honeymoon yet. We just wanted some time to complete our commitments before take a trip together. As off now, my priority is to complete Mahanati and then join Rangasthalam, 1985. Post completing them, we may go on our Honeymoon and soon we will announce, reception date.”
