Financial Scam Hits Teja’s Family

Director Teja’s son Amitov has reportedly fallen victim to a financial scam and lost Rs. 63 lakhs. Two Hyderabad based individuals, Praneeth and Anusha, claimed to be stock market experts and promised high returns.

Trusting them, Amitov invested his money after being shown fake profit statements. He later realised he was cheated when the investment was lost without any returns. He has now approached the police and filed a complaint and the case is under investigation.

Amitov had invested his personal funds. He completed his education in the USA and is now stepping into films as an actor.

His debut film, directed by his father Teja, is currently under shoot. Teja has not commented on the issue, as the matter is with the authorities.

Teja is also directing a supernatural thriller with Amitov in the lead role. The film’s official announcement is expected soon.
