Rakul Preet Singh has warned her fans about a fake person using her name and photos on WhatsApp to fool people. The imposter is reportedly messaging others from the number 8111067586 pretending to be her.
Rakul shared a screenshot on her Twitter account on November 24th and told everyone, “Someone is pretending to be me on WhatsApp. This is not my number, so please don’t reply to such random messages”.
This is not the first time such a thing has happened. Earlier actresses Aditi Rao Hydari and Shriya Saran also faced the same problems with fake accounts trying to cheat people and which is not new.
Rakul who recently appeared in De De Pyaar De 2 as Ayesha has a huge fan base because of her acting. She requested each and everyone to stay alert and not fall for such scams.
With this warning she hopes no fan becomes a victim of online fraud.
