Excellent openings for Radhe Shyam despite hurdles

Prabhas’s much-awaited film, Radhe Shyam, directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, and starring Pooja Hegde as its leading lady, has finally been released today. The film has been one of the most highly anticipated films in the entire country now, with everyone waiting to see when the film would finally be released. Touted to be an epic romantic saga, the songs, trailers, teasers, and everything else about Radhe Shyam impressed the people from the get-go.

As a result, the film opened to huge numbers everywhere, even in Andhra Pradesh, where the hurdles for the film continued even as it was near to release. The AP government promised to give special permissions for Radhe Shyam, as it was a big film but failed to stand on its promise as the government didn’t give any special permissions for the film ahead of its release.

Radhe Shyam opened in more than 920 theatres in the Telugu states, which guaranteed a solid opening for the film. It is now to be seen how the film will fare in the days to come, and what the final figures of day one will be.
