Election Season Adds More Trouble For Vijay’s Film

Vijay’s upcoming film Jana Nayagan has been facing several issues even before its release. The movie was originally planned to release during the Pongal season but it got delayed because of censor problems.

At the same time Vijay is also under investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation in connection with the Karur stampede case which has added more pressure around the film.

Meanwhile the schedule for the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election has been announced.

Because of the political atmosphere and Vijay’s involvement with his Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam party the film may not release during the election period.

Investors are worried about further delays and the makers may take a final decision after the election results on May 4th.
