It is very well known that Gunasekhar who loves to make huge budget flicks has announced Shaakunthalam, a mythological drama. The subject is taken from Mahabharatha, Adi Parva, and revolves around Shakunthala and King Dushyant. It has been announced that Samantha is playing the titular role in the movie.
Dev Menon will play the male lead role. As per the latest update, Eesha Rebba was roped in the project. She will play the friend character to Shankunthala. Her character is very important and she will be there for the majority of the movie.
Gunaa Team Works is producing this drama on a huge budget. Mani Sharma will provide music for the movie. The regular shooting of the film will kickstart very soon. More details about Shaakunthalam will be out in a couple of weeks’ time.
