Dulquer Salmaan and Prithviraj Sukumaran recently had their Kochi homes raided by Customs and Central Excise officials as part of Operation Numkhor. The investigation focuses on the alleged import of luxury cars from Bhutan into Kerala without paying taxes.
According to officials, pre-owned SUVs were reportedly brought from Bhutan illegally and sold to businessmen and film industry figures.
As part of the operation, raids are being conducted at many locations and are checking documents related to car registration and ownership to verify compliance with the law.
As of now there is no official and exact update on the results of these raids and no one has commented on the matter.
Both actors are known for their love of luxury cars but it is unclear if any rules were broken. At present they are also enjoying the success of their recent films.
