Dragon: Shooting To Resume Post-Diwali, Netflix Rights Locked

NTR’s upcoming movie, tentatively titled Dragon has been surrounded by many rumors. The high octane action drama is directed by Prashanth Neel and its new shooting schedule is set to start next week after Diwali, continuing until the end of the year.

Despite some speculations suggesting that the film might not release in 2026 the makers have clarified that it is indeed planned for a 2026 release.

The digital rights of Dragon have been acquired by Netflix but the film will only be available for streaming eight weeks after its theatrical release.

This is longer than the usual four-week gap that most Telugu films have and it has been planned to support the Hindi theatrical release and ensure a strong run in other languages.

Rukmini Vasanth is the leading lady and NTR has reportedly lost significant weight for his role in the film. The official release date for Dragon will be announced next year, building anticipation among fans.
