Director’s Dilemma, Finding a Replacement for Samantha?

Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s decision to take a one-year break from work surprised many, leading them to believe she would step out of the public eye, including social media. However, Samantha has been actively sharing her travel adventures, first in Bali, then the USA, and now Austria, keeping fans engaged.

Initially, there were rumors that Samantha would play the female lead in director Nandini Reddy’s upcoming film alongside Siddhu Jonnalagadda. Her hiatus raised doubts about her involvement in the project, but her continuous vacations raised hopes among fans that she might return to the film industry.

Nevertheless, it has been revealed that Samantha needs a year of rest to manage her myositis condition and muscle inflammation. Director Nandini Reddy is now scouting for a fresh face, considering talents like Nitya Menen and Malavika Nair to pair with Siddhu.

Meanwhile, Siddhu Jonnalagadda is still fine-tuning the sequel to DJ Tillu, titled Tillu Square, which he has written. Unfortunately, the film has faced significant delays in its release schedule.
