Dil Raju Raises Red Flag On Telugu Film Industry

Dil Raju has raised concerns about the future of Telugu cinema. While promoting his upcoming film Thammudu starring Nithin which releases on July 4th, he spoke about current industry challenges.

Raju pointed out that OTT platforms are gaining control and even deciding film release dates. “Nothing is in our hands now. OTT players are setting the rules”, he said.

He warned that if theatre footfalls don’t increase, Telugu cinema could face its worst phase in the coming years.

To avoid this, He stressed the need for better content, flexible ticket pricing, and improved theatre experiences. He also said that star heroes should do more films, with at least one release every Friday.

According to him, it’s the responsibility of producers to protect single-screen theatres and work together to bring audiences back to cinemas before it’s too late.
