Digital, satellite and audio rights fetch a decent amount for Varun Tej’s Ghani

The shooting for hero Varun Tej’s upcoming boxing drama, Ghani is expected to resume in the second week of July. Being directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati, the film was supposed to hit the screens on July 30th but due to the Covid outbreak, the shooting was stalled in April.

Meanwhile, the latest we hear from digital sources is that exclusive Telugu content provider, Aha has bagged the digital and satellite rights of Ghani. Inside reports confirm that Aha has invested a decent amount of Rs 24 crore to bag the film’s rights. News is also that noted music label Lahari has acquired the music rights of Ghani for Rs 1.5 crore.

Sandalwood star Upendra, Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty will be seen in crucial roles in Ghani. Young beauty Saiee Manjrekar is the female lead. Allu Venkatesh and Sidhu Mudda are bankrolling the movie jointly. Thaman is the music composer.
