Hrithik Roshan asked Salman Khan for bodybuilding advice since he was so anxious about making his Bollywood debut.

One of the top actors in the movie business is the Bollywood sensation Hrithik Roshan. He is well-known for his superb talent, alluring appearance, and amazing dancing abilities. Although he is a successful actor, did you know that he once sought Salman Khan’s assistance for bodybuilding?

It is commonly known that the celebrity made his Bollywood debut with the love drama Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, which was directed by Rakesh Roshan. As the movie gained popularity and became a blockbuster, it served as the ideal launching pad for him. Before his debut, he was, nonetheless, really “nervous.”

Hrithik Roshan did everything in his power to present a professional image for his Bollywood debut. Even Salman Khan offered him assistance with his bodybuilding. Hrithik revealed to the BBC that he underwent acting and singing lessons to perfect his dual roles as Rohit and Raj in Kaho Na Pyaar Hai.

“I knew the physicality was very important, especially for this film where I was doing a double role, Rohit in the first part and Raj in the second half. I thought it would be nice if I could even physically show the difference between the two characters. So, I was training myself for a year, but I was not seeing the kind of results I wanted to see,” recalled Hrithik.

Salman received a call from Hrithik Roshan. “I tried all I could, even dialling Salman Khan, the biggest star but someone I knew nothing about. Salman is the finest in the business, so I just asked myself that question and decided to give it a shot. I’ll attempt to ask him what you do.

Hrithik Roshan started filming the romantic drama with Ameesha Patel after meticulously prepping for his part. However, he learned around halfway through production that the movie is more focused on its female lead and provides little opportunities for him to showcase his skills. He voiced his displeasure to the film’s director, his father Rakesh Roshan.

“On the script level, I thought it was a girl film and kept complaining to dad, ‘You know papa, I have got nothing to do. All I am doing is laughing or looking good, or dancing. How do I show people that I can do things,’” shared Hrithik

The actor said, “He replied, ‘I am making a movie, you want to act in it, do.’ He said this in response to my son’s continuous complaints. Don’t, however, give me filmmaking advice. You are acting in it because you are a good fit for the role; I am not making the movie to launch you. It just so happens that you are my kid, a newcomer.

Hrithik Roshan’s concerns over his part in Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai were unfounded because the movie was a tremendous success after it was released. It enhanced Hrithik’s reputation as a talented actor in Hindi film who can also dance.
