Actress Priyanka Chopra, who founded the Sona restaurant in New York City in 2021, will no longer be connected to the establishment.

The actress and her buddy Maneesh Goyal opened Sona, a restaurant, in New York City in 2021. Celebs like Mindy Kaling, Sophie Turner, Kal Penn, and many others have been sighted visiting Sona to chow down on mouthwatering Indian cuisine in the two years since that time. According to sources, Priyanka Chopra has since ended her relationship with Sona.

Priyanka Chopra will no longer be connected to Sona, as reported by People. The ‘Love Again’ actress’s representative confirmed this in a statement, saying, “Priyanka has stepped away from her collaboration at Sona. It will always be a proud and important time in her career to bring Sona to life. The spokesman went on to say that PeeCee has always worked to promote Indian culture, whether it be through her films, TV shows or exquisitely presented foods that exemplify India’s “haute cuisine.” But leaving Sona doesn’t mean that her career in the restaurant and hotel industry is gone.

According to the spokesman, Priyanka Chopra can now pursue her goals on a “more global scale” and is very enthusiastic about the opportunities that lie ahead. Sona, Priyanka’s restaurant, will continue to be open despite her absence. Working with the actress has been a dream come true, according to Maneesh Goyal, the restaurant’s co-founder, and he is appreciative of the cooperation and support.

The last time audiences saw Priyanka Chopra was in the rom-com Love Again with Sam Heughan and Celine Dion, as well as the Russo Brothers’ Citadel, in which she co-starred with Richard Madden. She will soon be seen with John Cena and Idris Elba in the movie Heads of State.
