Dhurandhar’s Dream Run Meets Roadblock

Ranveer Singh’s latest film Dhurandhar is creating a strong wave at the box office. Surprisingly the movie’s weekday collections are even higher than its first weekend numbers, proving it is a massive hit.

It is also performing very well in overseas markets. Dhurandhar is expected to continue its strong run in the second weekend too.

However in the middle of all this success, the team received unexpected bad news. Dhurandhar has been banned in all Gulf countries. The makers tried to get permission to release the film there but the authorities denied clearance.

The ban is because the film takes an anti Pakistan stand and deals with sensitive political topics. As a result, it is banned in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Earlier few movies also faced similar bans leading to a major loss for Dhurandhar.
