With Bichagadu (Pichaikaran), Dheepa Ramanujan has managed to generate quite a recognition in the hearts of the people of both Telugu and Tamil speaking states. Well, that’s proving to be a huge benefit for her. No wonder the Malayali actress has bagged a key role in AR Murugadoss’ next with Mahesh Babu.

A leading news agency reports that the actress has been roped in to play the superstar’s mother in the film touted to be a high-octane action entertainer.

The film which stars Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead also stars SJ Suryah and Nadhiya in the prime antagonist roles. Harris Jayaraj is scoring the film’s tunes.
