Dhanush Gears Up For Back-To-Back Biopics

Dhanush is one of the busiest actors in Indian cinema today. He is acting in films across three languages. Along with acting he is also directing movies and producing content driven films under his banner, Wunderbar Films.

Dhanush has two important biopics lined up and both are expected to begin shooting next year. The first is the biopic of legendary music composer Ilayaraaja.

The project was announced last year but got delayed due to Dhanush’s tight schedule. The shoot is now planned for next summer with Arun Matheswaran as the director. Pre-production is currently in progress and Ilayaraaja himself will compose the music.

The second biopic is on former President APJ Abdul Kalam. Titled Kalam: The Missile Man of India, the film will be directed by Om Raut and is inspired by Dr. Kalam’s autobiography Wings of Fire.
