Devi Sri Prasad Subtly Addresses Past Payment Issues

Devi Sri Prasad is having a successful year. After delivering a hit with Thandel, he impressed everyone with his work in Kuberaa, especially the background score, which played a big role in the film’s success.

At the film’s success event, DSP congratulated the team and thanked producer Asian Suniel for clearing his full payment before the movie’s release, a rare thing in his experience.

DSP said, “Asian Cinemas is one of the best banners I’ve worked with. They cleared all my dues before release. The film has a new story, fresh music, and people are appreciating the background score. I got a blockbuster and my payment on time”. His speech included light satire about past payment issues.

Though he didn’t name anyone, his words hinted at the struggles he faced in recovering dues from previous producers.

It’s also known he faced hurdles during Pushpa 2, where Sam CS was brought in for the background score.
