Devi Sri Prasad clarifies about recomposing Seetimaar for Radhe

For everyone who saw Salman Khan’s Radhe theatrical trailer, one thing that surprised everyone is definitely the Seetimaar song. It is a chartbuster song from Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Duvvada Jagannatham. Many have thought that the song was just lifted but music composer Devi Sri Prasad has clarified it.

“Prabhudeva approached me to compose a peppy number for Radhe. I suggested Seetimaar. It was a blasting number and Seetimaar is a Hindi word. Prabhudeva liked the idea and Salman Khan too said to go ahead. I recomposed the song keeping Salman Khan in mind. He heard the final mix and was impressed. I was present on the sets when the Seetimaar song was shot. We really had a blast,” revealed Devi Sri Prasad.

It is not the first time that Devi has composed a song in Bollywood. Earlier for Salman Khan’s film Ready, Ringa Ringa from Arya 2 is used as Dinka Chika.
