Actors Kajol and Kherin Sharma recently launched the trailer of their film Maa at a multiplex in Mumbai.
They were joined by Kajol’s husband and actor-producer Ajay Devgn, producer Kumar Mangat Pathak, director Vishal Furia, and creative producer Vishal Danish Devgn. Actor R Madhavan made a surprise appearance, adding to the excitement.
During the event, a journalist asked Kajol if an 8-hour work shift for working mothers is fair, referring indirectly to recent reports about Deepika Padukone leaving the film Spirit due to her shift timing preferences.
Kajol expressed support for working fewer hours if possible, but Ajay Devgn quickly clarified that most honest filmmakers understand the need for balance, and typical shifts are already around 8 to 9 hours.
Kajol and Kherin also shared a lighthearted moment about Kherin’s nervousness before the trailer launch. Maa is directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande, set to release on June 27th.
“Most of the Honest Filmmakers will not have problem with this.”
