CM KCR felicitates Vijay

Tamil actor Vijay, who is in Hyderabad, shooting for his upcoming film, a bilingual directed by Vamshi Paidipally, and produced by Dil Raju, met with Telangana Chief Minister KCR today, where the CM felicitated the actor with a shawl and a bouquet. The reason for the meeting is unknown at the time of writing, but sources say that it was a casual visit.

On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna has been roped in as the leading lady of the film, the shooting of which would take place in Hyderabad, as well as in Chennai. Tamil actor Prabhu is also a part of the film, along with veteran actress Jayasudha.

The film marks Vijay’s debut in Telugu and Vamshi’s debut in Tamil. Vijay’s last film, Beast, performed well in Tamil Nadu and garnered good interest in the Telugu states as well. The actor has managed to establish a good market for himself in the Telugu states in the last few years.
