Rumors have been circulating that HanuMan director Prasanth Varma took advances worth Rs. 80–100 crore from several producers for films that never materialized.
Reports suggest he is overcommitted to his PVCU ventures and studio investments and that industry bodies might take action.
Producer DVV Danayya’s name was also linked to these claims, but DVV Entertainment released an official statement denying any financial or professional connection with Prasanth Varma. They urged the media to post only verified information.
Meanwhile, Prasanth Varma continues to serve as the creator of Adhira the debut film of Kalyan Dasari, DVV Danayya’s son.
It remains to be seen how the film progresses amid the ongoing speculation.
