Chelaaki Chinnammi: A feel good, soulful song

When it was announced that Venkatesh will be seen in Narappa, the remake of the Tamil film Asuran, starring Dhanush, everyone was excited to see how the actor would bring to life his character, in the remake. It was recently said that producer Suresh Babu opted for a direct OTT release for Narappa, Venkatesh’s fans were outraged, and even general audiences weren’t pleased.

It was later said that Suresh Babu had reconsidered his decision, and decided to go ahead with a direct theatrical release. The first single from Narappa has been released today, on Suresh Productions Music. The music for Narappa has been composed by ace music director Mani Sharma. Chelaaki Chinammi has a very beautiful and soulful tone to it, while the lyrics reflect naive and innocent feelings between a man and a woman.

Chelaaki Chinnammi has been sung by Nutana Mohan and Aditya Iyengar, while Anantha Sriram has written the lyrics. Srikanth Addala is the director of the film, and Narappa is yet to get a theatrical release date. There are good expectations on the film, in which Priyamani, Karthik Rathnam, Murali Sharma, Rajeev Kanakala and others will be seen in pivotal roles. On the other hand, Venkatesh has Drushyam 2 ready for release, after Narappa.
