Chatrapati is the official remake of 2005 of Rajamouli’s mass actioner with the same title is being in the making process for the past few months. While the original version has Prabhas in the lead role, the remake version has Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas reprising the lead role.

The remake version is being bankrolled by Jathayajithiialal Gada under the pen studios’ banner. The larger-than-life setup and the larger canvas have been receiving positive feedback from the netizens. VV Vinayak who is showing through a lean phase in his career after Khaidi No 150 is keen on bouncing back with the film.

Co-starring Regina Cassandra as the female lead, the Hindi version of Chatrapati is carrying decent expectations among the public in the North belt. Amidst decent expectations, the film is scheduled for a summer release. The film also has Jagapathi Babu and other prominent actors in key roles. This film will have a simultaneous release in southern languages also. the film even makes the official debut in Sai Srinivas in Bollywood.
